Crescent Spur Heli-Skiing

Crescent Spur, British Columbia, Canada

Crescent Spur Heli-Skiing is situated in a tiny remote community tucked between the Cariboo Mountains and the Rockies. These famous mountain ranges are legendary in heli-ski circles for their quality of ski terrain–from steep trees, to open bowls and expansive glaciers.

Crescent Spur Heli-Skiing was founded in the 80s by Mark & Regina Aubrey, who by that time, already had a combined 16 years of back country skiing experience as guides in the snowcat industry. Twenty years later, they still love sharing their passion for heli-skiing with skiers and boarders from all over the world.

By catering to a maximum of 20 guests per week, they ensure that all visitors experience a personal, one-of-a-kind heli-ski/board experience. Two guides per group lend comfort, flexibility and a high degree of service to guests. Only two groups out of the helicopter means that the pace is truly set to the ability and interests of each group.

What often takes first-time guests by surprise is the incredible atmosphere of their hand-crafted private lodge. Guests return to it each day to enjoy the comforts of home. Spacious bedrooms, extensive exercise and games room, lounge, two wood burning fireplaces, open air hot tub, sauna, massage therapy, and exceptional dining make the après-ski a welcome treat.

As with anything, the proof can be found in Crescent Spur’s customers, who visit year after year, in turn becoming a part of this little family. Ask any of them; they’ll tell you it’s an experience way beyond skiing.
