What’s New for the 2011/2012 Season?
As Utah’s largest ski resort, Canyons offers 4,000 acres, 182 ski and snowboarding trails, 6 natural half-pipes, and the longest terrain park in the state. The dramatic and diverse mountain landscape accommodates a variety of skill levels, offering everything from long and gentle, to steep and steeper. Featuring a vertical rise of 3,190 feet, the Canyons mountain experience is boundless with its multiple runs and breathtaking beauty.

Revolutionary, Heated Orange Bubble Express: The first of its kind in North America, this enclosed heated seat ski lift gets you up to the mountain faster than ever.

Gondola Base Relocation: A new centralized base location offers better access to all the lodging properties in the Resort Village, as well as to day guests who are accessing the Resort Village from the main parking lot.

Iron Mountain Express: The Iron Mountain express lift provides access to an additional 300+ acres, featuring advanced and intermediate terrain, 12 new runs, and natural tree glades.

Ski Beach: A breathtaking Ski Beach provides the ultimate location to explore all sorts of après-ski activities. From cocktails on the Farm Deck to a new learning area for kids, Ski Beach is the ideal gathering place.

Transitions Terrain Park: Over a mile long, this park offers 50+ features (rails, hits, boxes), a number of massive jumps, as well as natural features in the surrounding aspens.

Canyons also has the thrilling new zip line that offers a heart pounding way to traverse the horizon, horse-drawn sleigh rides, dog sledding, and more.
