Ski Fashion Trends: Compact Sunglasses

They were the hit of the French Alps during the ’80s, and no Euro skier (or Euro wannabe) would dream of hitting the slopes without his Sunpocket shades. But when its fashion fortunes fell, the manufacturer, well, folded. In 2009, an enterprising Swede named Jacob Höglund found his dad’s old pair in his family ski cottage and set about to resurrect the brand, reviving and updating several retro-chic styles. Each of the models folds easily into a sleek protective case — one that won’t spoil the silhouette of your neon-pink once-piece, Monsieur Monoski.
